The bouncer lost out to Arron Lowe, the pair having been nominated by their fellow housemates on Monday (June 11).
On hearing the announcement, Chris shook his head and was hugged by the others, with Arron leaping at him for an embrace.
Chris walked up the stairs to the exit with his head bowed, but emerged to mainly cheers.
Luke Anderson and Shievonne Robinson had wanted Chris to stay, with Shievonne saying: "The point is, I look at his little good side. He's got a good heart but he can't control [his temper]."
Luke A had added: "I'd much prefer to have Chris there."
Wildcard contestant Becky Hannon had a different take on Chris, telling Scott Mason: "He's a nightmare. He's putrid.
"He's the most annoying boy ever to grace the Big Brother house. I don't think I've ever hated anyone so much. I genuinely detest him."
Digital Spy readers also wanted Chris out, with 58% of votes in favour of the bouncer's departure, and 42% opting for Arron.
