Melanie, a Mel B look-alike from North London, has her own plans, premonising that: "One drunken night I'm going to let those chickens out . . . sleep with it!"
Following a recent split from her long- term boyfriend, rumours at BB are that she may be looking for something more than a one night stand, as she says: "I'm glad we've got something we can stroke."
Melanie has strong opinions about relations with animals. In a recent interview with BB producers, she said: "I love anything with fur and most animals. They are simple, uncomplicated, and one can fool oneself into believing the affection is genuine emotion."
But maybe Melanie is fooling herself into thinking that this could be a match made in a chicken coop as she has an allergy to her feathered friends. Only time will tell.
