Potato inquest!
Published Sunday, Jun 17 2001, 23:15 BST | By Neil Wilkes
Paul called a group meeting this afternoon to get to the root of the practical joke played on him last night.

He was determined to expose the culprit who had planted potatoes in his bed and chose to question each member of the group in turn at lunchtime today.
"I think it was a team effort," Josh said confidently, "between Brian and Narinder."
Amma, Elizabeth, and Helen were also convinced that chief prankster Bubble had somehow been involved in the sly antics.
Having heard the evidence from his housemates, Paul thought he had an idea about who the culprit was.
"I know they weren't put in my bed initially. It's got to be one of the blokes hasn't it?"
Still none the wiser he made the whole group stand before asking all those not involved to take a seat.
Joined at the hip Narinder and Brian were left red-faced as they were exposed as the perpetrators of the deed.
"That was a good one!" Paul exclaimed as he hugged Narinder surprised by her actions. Their cunning plan was hatched last night when Brian decided to mark his return to the boys' bedroom.
Removing bed-slats has become a passé joke, so when Bubble suggested they use potatoes Brian couldn't help acting on the idea.
