Hypnotic love

Paul has declared his undying love for Helen while pretending to be hypnostised.



Even though Elizabeth has been exposed as a charlatan and the trick of the day has come to an end its repercussions are still being felt in the house.

Paul wasn't hypnotised during the elaborate prank but despite this Josh attempted to convince him he had been under Elizabeth's spell: "You said you loved Helen," he joked.

And although Paul knew it couldn't be true he was still worried enough to try and convince Helen he hadn't said it.

"I did not," he said. "Helen, look at me. I did not say that."

Elizabeth joined in the antics and said: "You promised you would make Helen spaghetti on toast to say 'I love you.' You were chasing her around the room at one point."

Paul then decided that if he couldn't beat them, he was going to join them in their mind game and asked Helen to go into the bedroom for a chat.

Lying her down on the bed Paul announced: "I really fancy the pants off you Helen," much to her horror.

"I don't fancy you though," she replied, before screaming when he tried to climb on top of her. The Welsh lass bolted from the room towards the relative safety of the rest of the group.

Paul was hot on her heels, arms outstretched, shouting: "Helen, I love you."

But in jest or otherwise, it was obvious that the emotion wasn't requited.
