Sweet success

Dean has become a World Record breaker, smashing the previous record by 18cms! Big Brother announced his success at completing the sugar tower task to a group who frankly wished they'd bet more than 10%.

An official Guinness World Record adjudicator confirmed that Dean's sugar tower stood at one metre 20.1cms - more than 18cms tall of the current one metre 2cms record.
The achievement came in spite of the floundering attempts at sweet corn-munching, cream cracker-scoffing and bubblegum blowing.
Steady-handed housemate Dean reached for the heights and completed his tower in two hours, one less than the maximum time allowed by Big Brother.
As he stepped back to admire his masterpiece, everyone cheered and praised him for his pain-staking effort. "We won £6 everybody!" announced Amma, before Elizabeth precisely corrected her: "£5.60 actually."
Helen showed more emotion. "You know you've always been up there," she said, with her hand raised to her head. Then went up onto her tiptoes and added: "But now you're up there!"
She then grilled Dean on his presumed success: "How do you feel in the first five minutes of being a world record holder?"
"Completely different from before," he said aloofly.
"Do you really?" came Helen's excited reply, believing his every word. Her question unanswered, she paced the living room chanting: "Dean is the main man!"
Later sitting in the garden with a relaxed Dean, basking in his own success, Bubble supported Helen's statement. "You are the man," he said.
The housemates now have a slightly inflated £61.60 for next week's shopping budget.
Big Brother 2 is a Bazal production for Channel 4.
