Stir Crazy
Published Sunday, Jul 15 2001, 14:30 BST | By Neil Wilkes
Brian, Paul and Dean had a severe case of cabin fever on Sunday night, as they desperately tried to communicate with the outside world.

Standing on the table in the garden the three boys shouted random requests to anyone listening.
Dean kicked off the verbal adventure by shouting: "Is there anyone out there?" The guarded Brummie then followed it up with a more pertinent demand for alcohol. "Give us some beer!" he hollered.
Brian, however, went one step further and launched into a surreal monologue.
"Hello?" he began. "We're being held against our will. It looks like TV but it's not. They make me smile for bread and water.
"My name's not even Brian. I'm Simon. Simon O'Doherty," finished the funny Irishman, leading to a surfeit of giggles from Dean and Paul.
Unfortunately for the boys, no response came and they shuffled off inside. Yet with just two weeks left in the house, their dreams of the outside world will arrive soon enough.
Big Brother 2 is a Bazal production for Channel 4.
