Baby Talk
Published Thursday, Jul 19 2001, 13:00 BST | By Neil Wilkes
Paul and Helen engaged in a chat about babies last night after the Berkshire lad claimed his famous fish pie would go down in the Clarke family history.

"This [fish pie] will be the start of many generations," He announced. "This will be my meal - what feeds my children and makes them big and strong."
Helen's curiosity was aroused by his grand speech and she asked how many children he wanted.
"About ten," he said confidently.
"Get lost you can't have ten!" she exclaimed. "You don't have to give birth to them!"
And, despite her initial shock, Helen admitted that every girl wanted to have kids and get married "deep down" although she had reservations about the prospect herself.
Eventually settling for just two children Paul said: "I could not marry if a girl didn't want kids."
And with that the conversation petered out without the couple ever discussing the possibility of having children together.
