Drunken excuses

Paul has shocked Helen by claiming he only said he fancied her because he was drunk!

The revelation came after Helen questioned Paul on how he would explain their relationship to Davina if he is evicted from the House on Friday.
"I'm just gonna' say exactly what it is," he told Helen. "I didn't get on with her at first, but as the numbers went down you get closer to people and fond of them and that's it."
Helen was far from happy with his response and persisted her questioning,
"But what if she goes, 'No Paul, I mean the conversation in the den'," she asked, referring to the night they both confessed to fancying each other.
"I will just say we were pissed," Paul said flippantly.
Helen gasped as he dismissed the turning point in their relationship. "We were so not," she exclaimed.
Realising he had overstepped the mark he backtracked. "I know, I was only joking," he said before coldly adding: "I will say no way was anything gonna' happen."
As Helen's face dropped Paul continued to add insult to injury. "In all fairness, I'm a single person," he said pretending to be talking to Davina. "She is the one with the boyfriend."
"So you are going to make me look bad then?" interrupted Helen shocked at Paul's attitude.
Paul shifted uncomfortably under the covers as he denied responsibility for their flirtations. "No," he replied. "But that's the truth."
"And how did you feel on your first date?" Helen asked, pretending to be Davina.
"To be honest," he told her. "I slept all afternoon and woke up 10 minutes before."
Ignoring his comments she told him she had spent ages preening herself so she would look nice for him, but Paul was unimpressed.
"I'm looking forward to looking at everyone's pictures in the studio," she mused. "I will look at yours and think mmm. Do you look like a male model in it?"
Things don't look too good for Helen. Big G has told the world he's fed up with her and inside the House Paul seems to be backing off. So what does the future hold for the Welsh lass? You will have to wait and see.
