BB4 HMs 'must bring own condoms'
Published Thursday, May 22 2003, 16:22 BST | By Neil Wilkes
The BB housemates will have to bring their own condoms if they want to get down to it this year, according to today's Daily Star.
Producers will not be issuing the contraceptives to the twelve housemates -- instead they'll have to bring their own or buy them from the weekly shopping budget.
"We will definitely not be handing out condoms to the housemates," a spokeswoman for the show said. "If the contestants forget to pack condoms, it could get very embarrassing. They will have to ask the others if they can spend some of their food budget on getting some, but that request may not go down very well.
"Yet I don't think any woman wants to be the first to conceive a baby in the Big Brother house. Now that would be a world first."
The odds of a couple having full sex in this year's BB have been slashed to 5-1 after tabloid newspaper The Sun promised to pay £50,000 to the first pair that do the deed.
