Finally the waiting is over and Big Brother 2003 has begun. DS:BB takes a first look at the lucky housemates who will all fight it out for the £70,000 in 64 days' time.
In alphabetical order we introduce the housemates.
Anouska
From Chingley in Derbyshire - aged 20 - a girl with long dark hair. She is currently a nursery assistant and wishes to be a child psychologist. And sat an exam this Wednesday. She is the first to enter the house.
Cameron
From Orkney - aged 32 - a guy with short spikey hair. A fish trader. And is a member of the baptist church. He has a very soft scottish accent. Says jokingly he'd quite like to find a wife in the BB House!!
Federico
From Glasgow - aged 23 - is second generation Italian. He was once a model, but now works for his father. Says it's very surreal entering the Big Brother house. Has a strong Scots accent.
Gos
From Southall - aged 31 - Had all his clothes taken away as they were covered in designer names. Is a head chef, and sports a goaty beard. Has a girlfriend called Stacey, and lives at home with his parents and shares a room with his brother. Has a strong South London accent.
Jon
From Staines in Middlesex - aged 29 - Looks like Wes Brown of Manchester United. Has the surname "Tickle". His twin brother says he's good looking. Says he's likely to "stretch the rules" if he can.
Justine
From Leeds - aged 27 - Has a twin sister called Luby. She has long dark hair, and is shedding tears as she says goodbye to her family. She has just bought a house. She sells toys for a living. She says it would be perfect to meet a guy in the house, as you get to spend everyday with them. She looks very nervous as she introduces herself to the other housemates.
Nush
From Worcestershire - aged 23 - A bubbly blonde girl. An animal lover, who lives at home with her mum and dad. She is currently learning to drive. She says she is very open and friendly.
Ray
From Dublin (now in London) - aged 25 - had a bottle of Vodka confiscated last night by the Big Brother team. Is a systems administrator. Attends a gym 3 or 4 times a week. His friends would describe him as a very outgoing guy.
Scott
From Liverpool - aged 27 - Sporting a very 80's style shirt. Is a marketing manager. Is single, but doesn't feel he needs a girlfriend. Supports Liverpool FC. Says he hasn't found what he wants to do with his life.
Sissy
From Manchester - aged 26 - The sound dips as she says goodbye to her family. She designs childrens clothes. Lives with her friend called Joy. She lives to go out clubbing in Manchester, and has a large collection of vinyl records. A very loud entrance to the house.
Steph
From Redditch - aged 27 - Will celbrate her birthday next Wednsday. Has very short cropped hair. All her family live in the same street. She used to work at a prison. Was married for 2 years. Sadly the relationship lasted only 2 years.
Tania
From West London - aged 22 - Seems to be the stunner of the 6 girls. Lives at home with her family. Works for a clothing shops. Plays the piano, and speak Portugese. Doesn't like Sunday Drivers as they drive at 20mph.
