Dermot on working at BB
Published Sunday, May 25 2003, 16:12 BST | By Neil Wilkes
It may come as no surprise, but BBLB's Dermot O'Leary loves his job.
In an interview with the News of the World today, the host admitted he's "addicted" to the show and spends most of his day watching the live action on E4 or direct from the BB control room.
"Big Brother takes over my life," he said. "I'm so sad that I sit on the sofa at home -- watch all the housemates go to bed, wait until they go to sleep and then spend half-an-hour watching them sleeping before I go to bed myself!"
Despite a big cash reward from The Sun, he still doubts anyone will get it on this year.
"I don't know what I want to happen this year with these 12," he added. "I don't think anyone would shag on British television -- we're too reserved. But I'm up for anything. As long as it's entertaining.
"The thing is with this show, you just don't know what some people are prepared to do. Housemates may well think that if they sleep with someone they're going to be kept in, but I don't believe that people can play a game like that for the whole nine weeks."
Dermot's back with BBLB each weeknight at 6 starting tomorrow.
