Bored Of The Rings

Day 3 has seen the revelation of one of Jon's greatest passions - JRR Tolkien's 'Lord Of The Rings'.
He was quite keen to show it off too, as he described the Middle-Earth tale of hobbits, goblins and dwarves in the most laborious detail to the housemates who found themselves manning the pedalo at the wrong time.
Gos was the first to be dragged into the 'Lord Of The Rings' world while pedalling with Steph at about 8pm; Nush, who was listening on, made her excuses to leave the small group such was her disinterest in the story.
She hadn't heard the last of "the magic of Tolkien", however, as Jon described a further chunk of the story - revolving around the gods Warnot and Aayol - when she was sat in the pedalo with Gos shortly after 10pm.
Gos seemed to appreciate the detail that Jon applied, though, after commenting to the rest of the housemates that his descriptions "really make you envisage these kingdoms" before making up some parody names for some of the kingdoms which Jon described.
