Weekly task failed!
Published Wednesday, May 28 2003, 13:51 BST | By Neil Wilkes
The group have failed their first weekly task after an earlier blunder by Federico.
Big Brother announced the outcome just one hour after they had finished the 72 hours of continuous cycling, citing one breach of the rules as the reason for the failure.
The rules had said that housemates could only have one person in the pedalo on a changeover, but Federico had temporarily abandoned the pedalo during one shift to pick up some chewing gum.
Fed was notably upset and apologetic upon learning they had failed, but was comforted by the rest of the group, who agreed that it was a mistake anyone could have made.
"Don't dwell on it," said Sissy. "No-one's got a problem with it, we just need to make sure we pay attention to the rules as a group more from now on."
The eleven remaining housemates will now have a budget of just over £50 for next week's shopping.
