Nerves before eviction
Published Friday, May 30 2003, 18:45 BST | By Neil Wilkes
The housemates have begun to feel the strain as the result of the first public vote draws nearer... and it's not just the nominees who are getting nervous.
Washing up with Cameron earlier this afternoon, Ray confessed he was going to be like "a bag of jelly" when it got nearer to the time.
Meanwhile Fed didn't seem his usual self, wandering around the garden whilst the others sunbathed.
The group sat down for the last meal as a twelve just after 4pm, with Cameron raising a toast to their time in the house together.
Afterwards Jon -- who has convinced himself he'll be leaving tonight -- began to get ready for the announcement, asking Sissy to take off the nail varnish she had earlier applied to his fingertips.
So will Jon be pleasantly surprised, or will popular opinion prove right and make him the first evictee? Stick with us over the next few hours to find out.
