DS:BB's 'on this day' takes a look back at what happened in the house on this day in each of the past three series.
Big Brother 1
Still in house: Anna, Craig, Darren, Melanie
Anna writes a song about Big Brother but struggles with the last line: "Today I know that I will see your face again, And you'll be waiting there for me. And when I put my arms around you, you will see: ..." Darren goes easy on the clown facepaint after worrying about his complexion. The housemates fail the circus task; Darren and Craig complete all three tasks successfully, Mel fails every one and Anna fails the unicycle part. Mel leaves tea and biscuits for the cameramen but is disappointed when they are left untouched. The housemates are given a minitask: to create a four-page tabloid newspaper by Saturday.
Big Brother 2
Still in house: Brian, Dean, Elizabeth, Helen, Paul
Helen reads Paul's palms. Dean tells Helen not to eat cheese after she says she wants to lose weight. Paul tells Elizabeth he regrets flirting with Helen and thinks "it's for the best" that one of them has to leave on Friday. The housemates fail their weekly task;' Helen is convinced she was to blame but Brian messed up on the space hopper too. Elizabeth tells Brian and Dean what Paul had earlier confessed to her; they all agree he would probably "break her heart" on the outside. Paul reveals he hasn't had sex for three months. Helen says that once, from listening to two different women talk about their men in the hair salon, she realised that said man was having an affair. The group are given a tattoo mini task. Helen jokingly accuses Paul of being "all talk and no action" after he spurns her advances. Paul admits he might start sleepwalking in the house. Elizabeth accuses Helen of being a mirror gazer, but Brian tells Paul he is the most vain. Helen asks the group if they can "eat cock."
Big Brother 3
Still in house: Alex, Jade, Jonny, Kate, Tim
Tim and Jonny talk about their "problems." Tim says that he isn't avoiding Jonny, he just prefers to spend time with Alex because they are friends. He goes on to accuse Jonny of being hypocritical becausehim, Kate and Jade voted for Alex but said they didn't want there to be a divide. BB calls the housemates to do their rollerskating task just as Jade and Kate get out of the bath; they are forced to do it wearing just a towel. The housemates pass their rollerskating task and will be rewarded with a 70s theme party evening in bedroom 2. Alex admits he dabbled with cocaine and ecstasy in his days as a model in Hong Kong.
