DS:BB's 'on this day' takes a look back at what happened in the house on this day in each of the past three series.
Big Brother 1
Still in house: Anna, Craig, Darren, Melanie
The group get another minitask, to create and write a four-page tabloid newspaper with a deadline of 10pm Saturday. Craig is to be the sports editor and Darren the showbiz correspondent. If they are successful then they will be rewarded with a take-away meal and a video. Anna gets a shock when she finds a brain spider crawling on her bed. She and Mel decide to kill it but they lose sight of it. Darren reveals he was once kicked out of school for being too much of a tearaway, whilst Mel admits to being banned from school trips for "drinking, smoking, smooching and discussing sex" and being kicked out of the Brownies for "not pledging allegiance to the Queen." Darren, Craig and Mel go on a cleaning spree whilst Anna is in bed, with Mel requesting pot pourri from BB for the lounge area.
Big Brother 2
Still in house: Brian, Dean, Elizabeth, Helen, Paul
Paul puts henna tattoos on Helen's leg and Elizabeth's palms. Helen and Paul talk about children. The housemates' sleeptalking reaches record levels. Brian admits to having had sex in a nightclub toilet. Paul admits to doing it on the backrow of a cinema, whilst Elizabeth says she once did it with a guy on his lawn in front off his parents' window. Helen accidentally gives Paul a thump in the ear when a pillow fight gets out of control. Paul tells Helen he only fancied her because he was drunk. The housemates tattoo the BB logo on their bodies. Paul says he's "ready to go" on Friday. The group lose an opportunity to earn more wine, failing to knock down empty bottles on a wall. Helen treats Paul to a massage. Helen and Paul spend their last night in the house together in the den, snuggling under the covers. Dean gives Brian a singing lesson after he tries to perform 'Lean On Me'.
Big Brother 3
Still in house: Alex, Jade, Jonny, Kate, Tim
Massive rows erupt in the BB house. Alex accuses Kate, Jonny and Jade of "voting for the competition" (himself and Tim) in this week's nominations rather than "the backstabber" (Jade). He goes on to tell Jade that she's easily influenced by "the actors" of the house (Kate and Jonny). Jade calls Kate and Jonny out of the diary room and starts having a go at them for apparently talking to Alex about her. They are as confused as she is at the rant, which Kate thinks has come from nowhere. Alex tells Kate and Jonny that it was Jade he was unhappy with, and not them, but "Jade being Jade" she blew it up and involved everyone. Jonny admits to Kate that he voted for Spence the week he was evicted and he's felt gutted ever since. Over the course of the day, Jade's rantings continue to be the cause of discussion and frustration, with Alex telling her to "get stuffed" and that he "can't be bothered" to speak to her. Eventually, things settle down and Alex makes up with Jade.
