Revolution on the cards?

Published Saturday, May 29 2004, 16:01 BST | By Neil Wilkes
It's less than 24 hours in and yet the first signs of unrest can already be seen within the group.

Having admitted that she's already feeling the strain of being under the BB rules and regulations, political activist Kitten brought up the possibility of staging a rebellion as the group planned their shopping list earlier this afternoon.

"We have got the power, if we stick together," she told Ahmed, suggesting that they defy Big Brother by refusing to nominate.

Vanessa was particularly vocal in her disagreement of the idea, arguing that it would be against the spirit of the programme. "Thousands of other people would like to be in our situation," she said. "And if they (the producers) don't like us they can just say goodbye."

As the discussion went on it became clear that more of the housemates were becoming uncomfortable but Kitten was relentless with her pursuit. "There is no harm in trying it," she said, adding: "It will bring the group together."

Eventually they resolved to drop the issue for a few hours to allow everyone time to think about it.

So will the producers have a revolution on their hands? Will the housemates end up being the evil ones? Keep it with DS:BB for the latest.
