Betting update: Ahmed a fave for 'fake eviction'

One of the most exciting betting opportunities on Big Brother in the past has been the weekly evictions. It is an opportunity to put all that viewing time to some serious good use ? it is of course also a ready made excuse for spending so much time watching E4.
However for any potential gamblers out there, it is important to realise that the Big Brother producers have slightly altered the format for the first week. Although the housemates will believe they are voting for someone to go, the person nominated this Friday evening will in fact simply be shifted to a secret room for a few days.
In addition the housemate with the most nominations will have the opportunity to choose one other person to join them. From the secret room the two nominated housemates will be given the power to make decisions in the Big Brother house.
Due to the change in format this week, bookmakers have had to quickly revise the name of their first eviction market. As a result there are now a few different markets to choose from, including ?Fake Eviction? and ?Bedsit Contestants?.
The market I shall be concentrating on for now is the ?Fake Eviction? ? which is determined by the housemate who receives the most votes. Clear favourite is Kitten who should attract a fair number of nominations after continuously trying to break the rules. While some have gone along with her, others are clearly unhappy at her antics.
Although a strong case can be made for Kitten, there is also a decent argument to be had for Ahmed. The oldest member of the house has not settled and is struggling to be involved within the group. It has now reached the stage where the housemates are discussing Ahmed?s quietness behind his back, as well as to his face.
Don?t be surprised if Ahmed receives the most nominations with the most common reason being he is too quiet and doesn?t fit in. At the time of writing, Ahmed can be backed at 9/4 with Skybet to be the first housemate nominated.
