USBB Update: One down, two more on block
Published Wednesday, Jul 21 2004, 03:04 BST | By Darryl Woodford
Mike was the first housemate evicted from US Big Brother, with a unanimous vote, saying "Somebody could have thrown me one vote" as host Julie Chen informed him of his fate.
A food challenge followed, in the traditional quiz format and one by one the housemates were eliminated, until a tie break evolved. Marvin won the tiebreak by guessing the number of balls they collected in week one, and became the second head of household.
The second twist was revealed as Adria and Natalie were revealed to be twins sharing a role in the house. if the two of them make the half way point without drawing attention, the two of them will remain in the house together. The two have 15 minutes to switch and share information each time they do so... 1 down, 4 weeks to go!
Two days on and Marvin's nominations had to be announced -- with a big help from the four horseman, he placed Lori and Holly on the block... Lori as the strongest player, and Holly as a pawn to ensure her removal.
**SPOILER SECTION**: The Power of Veto competition followed, with Jason winning the veto, and electing to save Holly from the block as a result of their blossoming romance. After toying with putting Michael (Cowboy) on the block, Marvin finally decided to place Karen on the block...
Karen or Lori? Who goes? Well the housemates decide.. and we'll find out Friday. Stay tuned to DS:BB for the latest.
