Housemates go potty
Published Wednesday, Jul 28 2004, 15:33 BST | By Neil Wilkes
The housemates were given their next test last night - to make three large vases on a potter's wheel.
Each chained pair had to make their own vase - all within a one-hour time limit - but in an added twist, each housemate could only use one hand.
Nadia and Dan went first, followed by Michelle and Jay. Neither produced anything particularly worthy of the "large" description.
Finally, in scenes reminiscent of Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore in 'Ghost', Shell and Stuart took to the wheel. Although it appeared a tad phallic, Shell's sculpting aspirations helped them come up with arguably the best piece of all.
At the end of the hour, the group had to decide which vase was the best. They picked Dan and Nadia, who visited the diary room to collect their reward: a box of chocolates, which they generously offered to share with the group at the end of the task.
