Gnomes and naughty steps

As many count the hours to go before Big Brother starts more details of the show and its contestants are coming out in the press.

As reported today by The Sun there's more to the gnomes than first realised, Big Brother has proclaimed them a protected species and punishment is threatened to anyone hurting any of the 27 strong characters. One gnome in particular has a special job, he will be in charge of a secret camera, probably positioned where the housemates think they have found a hiding hole.

More interestingly The Sun also reports teasers about the housemates themselves.

· Eleven of the thirteen are single
· Two are gay, two are bisexual
· One a former paratrooper
· Three are foreign
· One is a former windsurfer
· One has breast implants

Could it be that Big Brother has been going to Supernanny Jo Frost for advice? This year the housemates will have a naughty step for bad behaviour.
