Paris Hilton turns down BB Germany appearance

Paris Hilton has turned down a £1 million offer to make a guest appearance on Germany's never-ending edition of Big Brother.
The star was approached by Endemol while she was in Munich last week.
The move was seen as one way of boosting flagging ratings for the show, which features former strippers, beauty queens, a married couple and a virgin amongst its contestants.
Hilton turned down the original offer, instead asking for $5 million (£2.7m) to appear in the purpose-built village.
"Paris asked for five million dollars to do the show, which was too much money," an Endemol spokesperson told The Sun. "That is why she won't be appearing."
