Shopping thief Max rumbled
Published Sunday, Jun 19 2005, 09:00 BST | By Neil Wilkes
Max's secret stash has been discovered by the group.
The hungry housemates, who had a budget of just £72 for the week, were angered after learning that Max had managed to add then steal several cans of cider from the shopping.
It appears that Craig was the one to blow the whistle after spying the hidden loot under Max's bed.
"Bang out of order," declared Makosi in a bedroom bitch with Vanessa, Kemal, Derek and Roberto. "You can't do that. £72 is too little to be selfish."
"I told him we didn't have enough and he still did it," added Vanessa. "I can't believe he did it."
Makosi pointed out that after taking items from the main list, Max still went on to claim his fair share of biscuits and cola. "We're going to have to talk about it," she decided. "It's stealing - he's stolen part of our shopping from us."
Roberto, meanwhile, was fretting over his missing cola share. "There seems to be a thief because somebody's stolen my cola and no-one seems to know about it," he said.
The five agreed to confront Max about the shopping heist in a group meeting later today.
