US 'Big Brother' confirmed for seventh season

The US version of Big Brother will be back for another instalment next summer, Variety said today.
The confirmation of a seventh season is the earliest renewal for the reality show, which normally gets the nod in January.
"This gives us a lot more time to plan for and work on Big Brother 7," said co-exec producer Allison Grodner. "That's particularly helpful given the producers' desire to add new twists to the game each season."
Julie Chen is expected to reprise her hosting duties for the new season.
