Big Brother 7 to last 13 weeks?

The next series of Big Brother will last a record thirteen weeks, according to various reports today.
The extension of a fortnight - up from last year's eleven weeks, which was itself up by one week on the year before - would take the total duration to 92 days.
The reports also claim that the start date, traditionally the last Friday in May, will be brought forward to the start of the month to better combat ITV's Celebrity Love Island.
Channel 4 has thusfar refused to comment.
