The incident followed half an hour spent in the bathroom with Lea recreating famous film scenes. When he took his performance to the living room, he was met by a disinterested and unamused reception.
"You see a bit of method acting and you all shy away," he told the group. "Have you not lived? We're here to play a part."
His continued provocation began to backfire, however, as he started to isolate his housemates one by one.
Sezer, who had been spoiling for a fight since their earlier run-in, eventually decided to speak back.
"Look over there, that's a mirror, have a look," he told Shahbaz, calling him "immature" and an "embarrassment to gay people".
"What you're trying to do is take on a house," Sezer continued, "and that's not a clever idea."
"Did I come here to be boring and uninteresting like you?" Shahbaz replied, before retiring to the bathroom and addressing the cameras. "Bloody hell, a little bit of theatre, a wee performance and they're like... freaked out. Well, they are young actually... whatever. A little bit of acting and look at them. Acting. Thankyou. Acting. Do they not get me?"
Richard made an attempt to calm Shahbaz down, urging him to "let the mask drop", but his advice fell on deaf ears. "Just join the group, join the collective," he said. "You haven't been doing that because you wander around in your own little world. Everyone's finding you a bit too much."
Although clearly shaken by the events, Shahbaz remained defiant. "I'll do you a favour," he told Sezer. "I'll go see Big Brother. I'll tell him I'll leave for your sake. I have achieved what I came here to achieve. If you really feel that bad, I'll say go. You can get over it, I'll do it, I'll leave, bye, done."
