Chaos reigns with first shopping list
Published Friday, May 19 2006, 20:32 BST | By Miriam Zendle
The three members of the Big Brotherhood struggled this evening after being charged with compiling the group's first shopping list.
Big Brother informed the trio that they - and they alone - would have to select the items to see the household through the first week.
They found things tough going from the off, wasting a good part of their allotted hour trying to determine the best method to compile the list.
Eventually, a fairly quiet Shahbaz took on the job of writing everything down, while an increasingly confused Lisa worked out pricing for each choice, intermittently yelling at Shabhaz for not quite understanding her methods.
Pete, meanwhile, sat on the sidelines, using a corner of the board to work out the running total. Frustratingly for him, however, he had to start over again after Shahbaz rubbed away his working out without warning.
The final list comprised a selection of fruit, vegetables and meat, balanced out by 60 packets of crisps, two biscuit selection boxes and various other treats.
