Dawn served as both a shoulder to cry on and a distributor of sage advice as Shahbaz attempted to explain to various housemates - mostly on an individual basis - where he had been coming from.
"I am theatrical but it wasn't meant to frighten anyone," he told George. "It wasn't meant to offend. It was just a parody of a film. If you'd known it you would have laughed and relished it in the beginning, like [Dawn] was, before the abuse started."
"You didn't scare anyone," George insisted, "but we just wanted to see this side of you. People don't want to see the actor, they want to see the person."
After receiving counsel from George, Shahbaz beckoned over his main opponent - Sezer - to talk things through.
"I think it is all a bit too much for me," he claimed, reasoning that his odd behaviour and "bad method actressing" was a result of little sleep and being "overwhelmed" by the experience.
"I honestly feel you tried to torment and belittle me, chucking jibes at me," said Sezer of the day's events. "I tried to bite my tongue for as long as possible. I see you as someone who is very much an actor and moving too fast for other people. Nobody knows who you are, how to take you."
As the conversation went on, Shahbaz eventually realised, and conceded, that he had been causing an atmosphere.
"I am disgusted with myself," he admitted. "I'm the very person who came in and created joy, and then created a problem. I've been winding everybody up."
Although the pair appeared to make some headway, Sezer later confessed to Mikey that he was unconvinced by Shabhaz's "fucking sob story". "It's all for show for him," he added. "I don't believe it, it's all bollocks."
Meanwhile, Shabhaz vowed to Dawn that he was going to "try and undo all the damage. I've just been looking for trouble - and there won't be trouble if I don't create it. I think I should drop the act."
