Party tricks and brain teasers
Published Saturday, May 20 2006, 02:05 BST | By Neil Wilkes
With Shahbaz safely locked away in the diary room, the remaining housemates spent the evening demonstrating party tricks and swapping riddles.
George received applause all round for his impression of a warthog, while Lea had a less enthusiastic response for her attempt to burp loudly.
Dawn proved herself to be the master of the brain teasers, meanwhile, stumping the group with the question: "You see a man dead on the ground. You see his eyes, his nose, his mouth and his two arms. What's his name and how did he meet his demise?" (*)
Nikki had the most inspired answers to the various riddles, suggesting that the man in question was chicken little - "because the sky fell in!" - or that he was a carrot, "because carrots are in the ground".
Lisa had less luck with her own riddle - "What goes in dry, but comes out wet, and the longer it stays in the stronger it gets?" - although Nikki chipped in with another enthusiastic suggestion: "A cock!"
(*) The answer: he was a snowman.
