Bonnie's Interview: "It was my time"

Published Saturday, May 27 2006, 08:30 BST | By Neil Wilkes
Having received final kisses from her surrogate mother Lea, Bonnie finally left the house after 10pm to a mixed reaction from the gathered crowd.

With the group's earlier comments still echoing in her ears, Bonnie flicked V signs from both sides in response to the customary boos that now greet every evictee.

After a quick walk through the crowd and posing for the press, Bonnie joined Davina in the studio for a post-eviction chat.

The highlights:

  • On being first out: "It was [gutting] but I think it was my time. Obviously they (the crowd) boo, they boo everyone."

  • On her relationship with Lea: "I just clicked with her straight away."

  • Asked whether viewers had seen the real Bonnie, she replied: "I do like to have a laugh and everything. I dunno, you just try and live with them for a week, it's weird. I was just sitting there bored out my brains."

  • On the Brotherhood twist: "Everyone was walking round making you feel like you had to cuk up to them.. I didn't want to suck up to them."

  • On whether she fancied any of the males: "No, I didn't you know. That was a bit of a let-down."

  • On Sezer and Imogen's relationship: "To be honest with you, I think she's so lovely but I think he's a bit of a player.

  • On Grace and Mikey's: "No that ain't for real - no way."

  • And Pete and Lisa's: "I ain't saying nuffing. I think that's a bit of a one-sided thing. I think Lisa likes Pete.."

  • On George: "George comes across quite arrogant or something, he stares at you, but when he speaks he can be quite lovely."

  • Who she tipped to win: "I think Nikki's gonna win. Hopefully Lea because she's having a bit of a tough time in there - she thinks the public hate her."

  • Finally, on what she had learned about herself: "To be honest with you, not really that much. I've only been in there for a week. But obviously I can't be around nutcases like Shahbaz."
