Lisa and Nikki win alcohol challenge

Lisa and Nikki have won the alcohol from the group's shopping list.

In tonight's Meal or No Meal challenge, the pair volunteered for a pub quiz-style game.

"The housemates who are still in play are Glyn, Lisa, Nikki and Pete," announced Big Brother, prompting the girls to volunteer.

Nikki regretted the decision as soon as she heard general knowledge would be involved, though. Grace assured her: "It doesn't matter girl - just do your best."

Stakes were raised even higher as Big Brother announced they were playing for alcohol. Their prize would include 28 cans of lager, two bottles of Shiraz and English cider, they were informed.

The effort got off to a strong start, Nikki succeeding on her first question then Lisa correctly confirming the record for the world's longest kiss.

Nikki faltered on her second attempt, however, when she was thrown by the question: "True or false - bald eagles are not bald?" Then it was Lisa's turn to put the group on edge when she got a second wrong.

In the last round, Nikki got back on track - correctly guessing that pigeons cannot fly with only one wing. Lisa successfully confirmed there are more pigs than people in Denmark to seal the win.

As jubilant housemates danced around and hugged, Nikki expressed her amazement at the success.

"I never ever, ever thought I'd do that," she screamed. "Why not?" enquired Grace. "Because I'm thick!"
