Big Brother sets intellectual task
Published Wednesday, May 31 2006, 11:30 BST | By Daniel Saney
The housemates were awakened by an alarm this morning and were soon told they had half an hour in which to get ready for today?s intellectual task.
Venturing out of the bedroom some of the housemates noticed some unfamiliar clothes, prompting Grace to realise: "It?s going to be a task isn't it? Dress up." It turned out the clothes were to make them more convincing intellectuals in a 'Geek Task'.
Big Brother called the coolest housemate to the Diary Room. The coolest housemate apparently being Lisa, she returned armed with laminated instructions and explained to the group that completing three of four mini-tasks would mean a luxury shopping budget for the week, but a failure would result in basic rations.
The task will see the housemates show their observational skills with some train spotting in the garden, before then splitting up into three groups to learn maths, sciences and languages.
Lisa instructed that all housemates must get changed into their geeky clothes and remain in the fetching garments for the duration of the task. "The geek shall inherit the Earth!" she concluded.
Stick with DS:BB as the task unfolds.
