Housemates to pop and lock
Published Thursday, May 31 2007, 19:21 BST | By James Lee
Big Brother has informed the housemates of their first challenge: the Big Brother break dancing championship.
Housemates had to nominate two leaders to choose members for their crew. Each member of the crew has to compete with an opposing member in a dance off.
Each dance has to incorporate a selection from five listed moves: the ‘Freeze’, ‘Back spin’, ‘Wrist glide’, ‘Six step’ and the ‘Caterpillar’.
Shabnam and Carole were elected as leaders, each taking turns to decide who was on their team. Carole chose Sam and Amanda, Nicky, Emily and Lesley. Shabnam chose Chanelle, Tracey, Laura and Charley.
Getting into the spirit, the team leaders decided to give their crew nicknames. Shabnam called herself “Shabalicious” and named Laura "Luscious Laura", Chanelle was called “Coco”. Charley and Tracey stuck to their normal names.
Carole called herself “MCCV”, Sam and Amanda “the Bootilicous double trouble twins”, Lesley “Luscious Lesley”, Nicky and Emily names remained the same.
A mystery prize awaits the team which impresses Big Brother the most.
