Housemates unhappy with food shopping
Published Thursday, Jun 14 2007, 14:01 BST | By Kimberley Dadds
The housemates have spent the morning complaining that they have not got the food that they ordered in the shopping.
As soon as Big Brother announced that the housemates could go and collect their food shopping they all excitedly rushed to the store room, only to be left disappointed by what they saw.
Carole began the list of complaints by pointing out that they had given her stock instead of vegetable stock. Gerry then discovered that he had no bread or strawberry jam, while Chanelle was upset to find that she had not got her double Gloucester cheese and Ziggy was left without any tuna.
Gerry protested: "It's just ridiculous. The portions are so small that things can not be missing."
Charley decided to confront Laura about there being no pitta bread because she was the one who had made the orders in the diary room. When Charley asked Laura if she had ordered pitta and Laura admitted she had not, Charley ranted: "They were 16p, it was the first thing I ordered. You swiped the board so my stuff got rubbed off. I wish I had checked the list, next time I'll do the list."
Ziggy then went to go in the diary room to complain to Big Brother and the twins set about writing their names on their food in nail varnish to stop any potential food thieves.
