Upon entry, Billi caused shrieks of surprise from Laura and the other girls, though Carole was the first to give him a hug.
A surprised Billi wondered why there were so many girls, before being appraised of the fact the house had previously been an all-female one. "This is the house of love," Ziggy told him after Seány revealed his and Gerry's homosexuality, prompting a quick-fire questioning of Billi's sexuality.
Shabnam found herself very "shocked" but found time to introduce herself.
Soon after, Jonathan entered to boos after revealing his millionaire and "rent-a-gob" status. "Thank Christ for that," he sighed with relief as he entered the house to a chorus of squeaks and bounces from the twins and a rather over-effusive Seány.
Seány immediately introduced him to Carole, saying: "This is Carole, she's single, she's single, and she's the most wonderful lady ever."
A bemused and slightly horrified Jonathan stood and listened as the housemates told him about her pool aerobics habit. Trying to respond politely, he said: "That's great," in response to Seány's revelation that Carole had brought 18 condoms into the house.
Jonathan was almost immediately bombarded with questions by the over-excited Irishman, who wanted to find out, as with Billi, whether Jonathan was gay or straight.
"Very straight," said Jonathan with a touch of relief, finding sane conversationalists in Gerry and Shabnam until Seány shrieked 'Bongo' and all the housemates got up and danced.
Meanwhile, 22-year-old cricket-playing tree surgeon Liam was a popular entrant with both the crowd and housemates alike, causing particular furore between the twins who mouthed words of admiration at each other.
"Is everybody always so lively?" he asked Seány soon after entering, possibly finding the atmosphere a little too overwhelming.
Brian caused similar pleasure, especially for Charley, who leaped into his arms the minute he walked through the door, sticking with him for the next while.
