Jonathan and Charley row over task
Published Tuesday, Jun 19 2007, 09:27 BST | By George Bevir
Jonathan and Charley apologised to each other after they became the second pair of housemates to row over the task last night.
The pressure of swimming 7556 lengths first led to Chanelle and Gerry falling out, and soon after their dispute Jonathan and Charley were at it as well.
Charley complained that Jonathan told her: "You didn't do well on the first go, so you're not going in again."
She went on: "He's evil. He's got an attitude problem."
Things flared up later when Jonathan suggested that an extra meal should be given to all the housemates who swam one hundred lengths or more.
"What about us poor girls who are starving?" pleaded Charley.
An animated exchange then took place, but as the sound had been dipped by producers it was difficult to establish what was said.
However Jonathan admited to Carole: "It's my fault. I couldn't hold my language. I couldn't hold my tongue. I love her to pieces and I didn't mean to swear at her. It's verbally stupid."
The pair apologised to each other after Carole and Nicky's dispute took centre stage.
