Brian has been unlucky in love

Brian's best friend Lauren McAvoy has lifted the lid on the 19-year-old's love life.

In an interview with New magazine, Lauren revealed that Brian loves blonde women but has been unlucky in love - he has yet to have a long-term relationship.

"He does like a blonde. They've got to be outgoing and well-liked by people," Lauren explained. "He wouldn't go out with someone his mates hated, because he cares about what they think.

"To be honest, I don't think he's ever had a proper girlfriend. Definitely not one that's lasted longer than six months, anyway. He tends to see someone and then it won't work out. I think it's because he's got a lot of girl mates. But he's only young and he loves having fun. I don't think he's ready to settle down."

McAvoy added that she thinks Amanda is the housemate who Brian would most like to be romantically involved with.

She said: "If Amanda was interested he would happily take her back to his home and show her off."
