Gerry complains about alarm

An exhausted Gerry complained about the Big Brother alarm this morning after it repeatedly sounded in the bedroom.

As one of the first housemates to rise after another late night, the 31-year-old soaked up some sun while lying in the garden.

Crunching loudly on a bowl of cereal, he told Ziggy: "I'm so sleepy. We went to bed at six or seven in the morning, we've only had three or four hours of sleep. I'm telling you, the alarm is the thing that every day makes me say I want to go. I hate the alarm, I absolutely hate the alarm."

Yawning, he said: "I know the offer for an early morning show at a radio station has to be rejected when I leave from here," although he was quick to add: "I'm just kidding."

The alarm was still going off at noon as all but four housemates continued to sleep.
