Housemates record radio shows

By
The housemates each performed a two-minute radio show this afternoon as part of Big Brother's latest task.

Reading from a laminate, Ziggy announced that each person must record a "menu" for an imaginary programme, including its name, which guests will feature and what topics will be discussed. "I don't get it," said Chanelle, when he had finished.

Charley kicked off the task with the "Southeast London Charley It Show", which consisted of an imaginary interview with her cousin, Kieron Richardson. "We will be discussing if he has really moved to Sunderland - or not!" she declared, before becoming tongue-tied and apologising to her listeners.

Liam introduced a show with a "manly" theme, featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger along with "some rugby players". Carole then launched into a lengthy jingle for the "Carole Vincent TV Show", after which the perplexed tree surgeon said: "It's radio, Carole."

Tracey's "'Ave It Hardcore Show" and Sam's "Pretty In Pink" were the next in front of the mic, quickly followed by Amanda's "Ultimate Girlie Show", with Paris Hilton, and Gerry's "Late, Late Show", starring Liza Minnelli.

Brian performed with gusto, announcing that his programme would cover such weighty topics as: "Who is better looking? Is it Bianca Gascoigne or Mercedes from Hollyoaks?"

A hesitant Chanelle then presented the "Celebrity Gossip Show", including an exclusive report on Victoria Beckham's relationship with her new best friend - "Chanelle from Big Brother 8".

Ziggy's football show was followed by a race to add some last-minute jingles, which included Gerry's enthusiastic rendition of his own composition 'I'm A Pretty, Pretty, Pretty Boy'.
