Housemates eat food to win luxury budget
Published Thursday, Aug 2 2007, 19:06 BST | By Kimberley Dadds
The halfway housemates were set a task this afternoon to eat their way through a number of 'luxury' food items and in return win the main house a large food shopping budget.
Everyone in the main house was told by Big Brother to gather on the sofas in the living room and was asked to watch the plasma screen.
Kara-Louise, David, Shanessa and Tracey were then told that they would be given different foods to eat and that each dish they managed to finish would give the main house £400 to spend on this week's shopping.
But the twist was that the 'luxury' items were not so appetising after all.
David was first up and ate his way through a meat luncheon ball filled with jam as the housemates in the main Big Brother house watched on and cheered.
Carole speculated that the Scot would win something in return for the task, saying: "He might end up in here and being exempt from nominations next week."
Jonty agreed: "He should get something for doing this."
