Chanelle wants to be friends with Ziggy

Chanelle Hayes has insisted that she wants to be friends with ex-boyfriend Ziggy Lichman when he leaves the Big Brother house.

The pair parted on bad terms when Chanelle quit the show on Monday afternoon, following arguments over the student's relationship with fellow housemate Liam, and Chanelle's belief that Ziggy had made her look foolish on television.

However, Hayes believes that they will be able to patch things up - though she has ruled out a romantic reunion.

"I do wish him well on the show. I hope when this is all over we can be friends," Chanelle told the Daily Star. "But we said some very harsh words to each other. I've also heard he has been flirting with Amy. That's a bit upsetting.

"I don't think we can ever be a couple again and I don't want to be. I am happy being single. But I don't bear any grudges towards him."
