"I think I'm getting to that point in the house where you hit a brick wall a little bit," he told Gerry in the bedroom this afternoon, as the museum worker prepared to nominate.
Lying in bed, the Essex boy agreed with Gerry's suggestion that he might be bored, admitting: "I'm not getting very stimulated."
"I thought you wanted to stay here forever!" noted a surprised Gerry.
Brian quickly clarified his position, explaining that he would rather be in the house than in the outside world but was struggling to find ways of keeping himself occupied.
"The nights are better than the days," he revealed. "Whereas before, I used to like the days better than the nights, but I think where we've lost people I used to spend the day with..."
When Gerry speculated that he might be missing Charley, Brian confided: "Me and Charley had an on-off relationship, but it was more Chanelle than anything."
He continued: "I realise why I was upset when she left 'cos afterwards I thought it was a bit stupid...But she was gonna be one less person who was on my wavelength to talk to and it really does make a hell of a difference when you've got one less person you can chat to."
