Brian seeks advice from Tracey

The data entry clerk has been feeling downcast for most of the afternoon, earlier complaining that he missed Chanelle because she was on his wavelength.
"Can I ask you a question, Trace?" asked the pensive housemate as the pair sprawled in their respective beds. "How do you get along with the day?...You say there's no-one on your wavelength to talk to and stuff, the way you would with your mates. How do you get through the day?"
After pausing to give the question some thought, Tracey replied that she had always known who she was during her time in the house. "By knowing that all through this game we've been playing, I've held on to Tracey. I've just held on to that and I've never forgotten who I am," she revealed.
As an interested Brian said he understood, she went on to explain her state of mind further, saying: "When I walked in that door on the 30th of May, I just held on to the fact of who I am. These people in here are my friends, I've gathered some friends in here but..."
"You just know, 'well, I'm this anyway so you can just like it or lump it'," finished Brian, before revealing that he had expressed similar sentiments in his audition.
"I said, like, if people don't like me they can kind of like it or lump it," he revealed, but added that he would prefer that people liked it rather than lumped it.
"You just have to take it," advised Tracey. "I get through the day by smoking a lot, a hell of a lot more...And just by keeping out the controversy, keep away from it."
When Brian agreed that there was no need for conflict, the "hippy raver" sighed: "It's been a long, long 10 weeks."
