The Posh lookalike went to an LA Galaxy game in a bid to meet her idol but was prevented from entering the VIP area by the Beckhams' security guards.
A source told The Sun: "There was no way Chanelle was getting past Posh's security. She is flattered that Chanelle is a fan but she is in no rush to meet her."
The 19-year-old reportedly turned down an offer to return to the Big Brother house in favour of jetting out to LA in the hope of meeting Victoria.
The Spice Girl was watching David in his first full debut for his new club with friends and the couple's four children.
Chanelle was mobbed by fans and photographers after being mistaken for her idol when she arrived in the city on Wednesday.
