Amanda's gran says she doesn't fancy Brian

Brian has no chance of securing a date with his fellow Big Brother contestant Amanda, according to her grandmother.

Irene Marchant, 75, has insisted that Amanda does not have any romantic feelings for the Essex boy, but she predicted that her granddaughter may try to hook up with Liam after the show finishes.

"I wasn't upset that she gave Brian the brush-off," Irene told Star magazine. "Liam is more her type - he's very good-looking and down-to-earth. He's more grown-up than Brian.

"Brian was devastated when Amanda told him she didn't fancy him, but I knew it wasn't ever going to go any further by her body actions. She just wanted to be friends. You can see her flirting more with Liam - they get on really well."
