Carr told off for Big Brother comments

The Friday Night Project host Alan Carr has revealed that he had a dressing-down from bosses after criticising Big Brother.

The comedian said Channel 4 producers were not impressed when he said he hated featuring evicted contestants on the programme.

He said last August: "These f**king morons get kicked out of the house and we have to talk to them."

He admitted that the remarks had landed him in hot water, telling Glamour: "Once, I was asked who were the worst people we had on the show and I said: 'The Big Brother people, because what's the point of them?'

"My Channel 4 producer called up screaming: 'Why on earth did you say that?'"

The Friday Night Project aired directly after the Big Brother eviction show during the last series.
