New hosts promise changes for 'BBLB'

New Big Brother's Little Brother hosts George Lamb and Zezi Ifore have vowed to "take ownership" of the spin-off show this summer.

The pair, who were announced as the new presenters earlier this month, both agreed that it would be a mistake to copy the style of former host Dermot O'Leary.

"Obviously we're going to work within the parameters that it's a switch-over show to Big Brother, so we can never go too far from it but in order to make it our own show and in order to not mimic what Dermot did - because you're only going to make a rod for your own back by doing that - we have to take ownership of the show," Lamb explained.

He added: "Rather than slapstick comedy it might be a little subtler and one would hope a little cooler than before."

Asked about her own expectations, Ifore replied: "I think it will be more opinionated, that's what people want to hear. Telling it like it is, keeping it real!"

Big Brother returns to Channel 4 and E4 on June 5.
