Davina pledges 'Big Brother' future

The run-up to Big Brother 9 has been plagued by rumours that the series will be Davina's last. Early last month, it was claimed that the 40-year-old host wished to focus on becoming a "serious actress". More recently, there were suggestions that she wanted to start presenting factual programmes.
However, Davina has pledged her commitment to the show and revealed her excitement for its tenth anniversary next year.
"I'm so not going to be an actress. I can't act," Davina told the News of the World. "I'm doing a cameo role in a movie playing myself as a zombie, and that's it.
"As for Big Brother, I'll never leave it. I love it. Next year is the 10th anniversary of the show, and there's no way I'm not going to be part of that. The only way I'd leave Big Brother is if they fired me. I'm so proud to be part of something I love."
Big Brother 9 launches on Thursday night on Channel 4.
