In the luxury bedroom, Dennis apologised to Stephanie and Mario for his previous comments.
He said: "It was nothing about any of you two. We didn’t want to put a downer on your day." He added that either way, the housemates should be supportive because if the relationship was for a task it might affect them.
He continued: "No one doubted you, we doubted Big Brother. Either you’ve got to do a task or you’ll be put in jail or something."
Dennis, Dale and Sylvia continued to talk about the relationship in the bathroom later, with Dale saying: "We’ve had such a stinker. If we’re wrong about this wedding thing we’ve had a nightmare."
However, Dennis and Sylvia rushed to defend their views. Dennis said he thought the wedding was "fucked up" whether it was a task or not, while Sylvia said she felt they had done nothing wrong.
She argued: "You were honest about how you felt, I was honest about how I felt, everyone was honest about how they felt. What can you do, that’s how you felt. If we happen to be wrong, fair enough. People make mistakes, but that’s how you felt."
