'BB' pips 'China' doc in Sunday ratings

The reality show was seen by 3.2m (14.1%) on Channel 4 at 9pm, with an additional 311,000 watching on C4+1. After launching to 5.2m (24%) on Thursday, Big Brother's nightly round-ups drew 3.5m (16%) on Friday and 2.4m (11%) on Saturday. The ratings are roughly similar to the first few episodes of last year's series.
BBC One led with coverage of Germany's Euro 2008 tie against Poland, which averaged 4.5m (21.2%) between 7.25pm and 10pm.
ITV1 drew 4.2m (18.8%) for Taggart at 9pm while 3.1m (13.3%) watched the wildlife show Wild China on BBC Two, putting the channel behind Big Brother by 100,000.
Five film The Rookie drew just 900,000 from 9pm.
